Jack Frost - First Snow

This is my first critique ever, so I hope it will be helpful!

I simply LOVE how you depicted Jack! It's perfectly clear that he is a mystical being by the way the frost glitters, the glowing of his staff, and the space that distances him from the mortal world. The entire piece evokes the wonder you feel as a child when it comes to mythological beings, and that is surely the right approach when it comes to Jack Frost!

This piece definitely draws interest in a sea of fanart, with the beautiful scenery, the unique pose, and the angle of the picture.

Very beautiful colors and textures! They all contribute wonderfully to the environment. However, the snow above Jack's head is too bright, and slightly distracts from the point of interest. Though it isn't completely necessary, it wouldn't hurt to add more detail to the mountains too.

Jack's interest in the human world is depicted very clearly, as well as his isolation and power. The piece really makes you wonder what could be out in the wild that humans are completely unaware of. Simply amazing!
